Harold the Giraffe

That Harold the giraffe seems to know a lot of things and we all really enjoyed our learning on the body. We had to wake him up but once he came out he told us so many interesting things.  Here he is with his friend Jamie.

Football Fun

This morning we had a surprise visit from Dan and Tyler from Football Kidz. They did an awesome session with the interested kids. They are offering 5 weekly sessions on Tuesdays for $49.  The children have been given fliers to bring home.

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...

This week we challenged the stormy weather and went to Zoo School at Orana Park.

We enjoyed seeing all the animals, learning about their special ways and where they live. Some animals are very well hidden!

Pirate Day!

Argghhh Me hearties! Today was Pirate day at school. 

We spent the morning building pirate boats.

 

We created some pirate maps and went on treasure hunts!

We made some pirate hats to finish our fearsome pirate looks.

We had so much fun today! 

Symmetry

Today - some of us learned about symmetry.  We made these amazing symmetrical paintings.  If you would like - we could teach you how to make them too!
