Anzac Baking

T1, T2 and T3 spent time baking Anzac biscuits. First we read the book "Anzac biscuits" by Phil Cummings and Owen Swan and talked about how special the biscuits were.
We enjoyed measuring and mixing.



Ms. Moran also shared a medal that belonged to her Great Uncle.
The studio smelt delicious and we enjoyed eating the results of our learning today!


Here is one of the recipes we used:

Anzac Biscuits
1 cup flour
1 cup of castor sugar
1 cup coconut
125g butter
2 tbl sps golden syrup
1 tsp (baking soda) baking powder
3 tbl sps boiling water

  1. I liked how you showed people how to make ANZAC biscuits because some people might not know how to make them and I think that it is good because can look on your blog and just find the recipe which is good for people who don't know how to maker them.
